The lakes and the Forêt d'Orient regional natural park

Les lacs et le Parc Naturel Régional de la forêt d'Orient

This is a territory of 70,000 hectares where water flirts constantly with the forest. There are three lakes stretching over 5,000 hectares, each with a different purpose: sailing and swimming in the Lac d'Orient, fishing and wildlife observation on the Lac du Temple, motor boating on the Lac Amance. From family walks to solitary birdwatching, a multitude of activities are available in the Forêt d'Orient regional natural park.

VISITS FROM MIGRATING BIRDS! True bird sanctuaries, the lakes of the Forêt d'Orient are havens for all kinds of birds: common cranes, great crested grebes, bean geese, white-tailed eagles and kingfishers.
