Background

Niglo and Niglotte have got a new friend: a kooky, clever, crafty squirrel who is always ahead of the game!

He’s the brains behind this new way to get around the forest. It’s called: the Noisette Express.

This new rollercoaster will take the whole family on a nutty adventure.

Features

The ride was designed by Nigloland and was custom-built to create an exciting ride that can still be enjoyed by younger visitors. The German firm Art Engineering built the ride and the Dutch company P&P Projects (who also worked on Zabeilles) created the scenery.

Nigloland also wants to use the Noisette Express to highlight environmental issues. The theme park is going to plant 200 trees and shrubs around the ride to provide a completely immersive experience. These trees and shrubs will help create an ecosystem to provide a home for small mammals and birds. The station will also be made of wood.

But that’s not all: Nigloland’s engineers have used their technical skills to create an energy-efficient ride. And the Noisette Express is all about raising awareness, too. While families wait in the queue, for example, Nigloland will provide information about recycling and waste recovery.
